Raw garlic, raw ginger, local honey, lemons, apple cider vinegar. Blend it all together. Helps instantly with sore throat. I shall be taking it hourly today throughout the day as you suggest. I woke up with a very sore throat and sore chest and I think I have a bacterial infection. I have just made my concoction and already my throat and my chest feel somewhat better. It has taken the edge off the pain.

I had a rather… Well , let’s just say disturbing experience after leaving a large box of these gear ties with a group of teenage boys in my nephew’s middle school class during the class field trip to Sly Park. I’d rather not relive the incident so all I will say is that young children/teens can potentially be a bit too uhhmmm… creative, for lack of a better term …with these items especially when they have access to a large quantity of them. Purchase these at your own discretion.

@SpeirOutdoors I am confused. In your video ua-cam.com/video/ivMyFX_p_nQ/v-deo.html the ingredients are different than the one in ua-cam.com/users/shortspgBAP1Xeb-c Which is the correct method???? Also why does it have to be refrigerated ???? There is nothing that can spoil from what I have researched.. Thank you.....!!!!!

I’m sorry but don’t see how they are different? In one video I used a glass comtainer and in another video I used plastic. It does not have to be refrigerated. The reason in the short I said to discard after 2 weeks is because if you store it with a metal lid the concoction will develop a metallic taste.

I can't think of a scenario where a pocket lighter isn't a better option, though you may have to dry it out if it gets wet. "well I don't carry a lighter" Yeah, well I don't carry Mg and ferro, which are heavier. "what if it runs out" Replace regularly. Heck, for the size and weight penalty, you can carry a spare. Eventually the ferro and Mg will run out too. They're cool. They're fun. I just like easy.

Great session, Chris. A sprinkle of Lawry's or salt and pepper makes a mouse lots more enjoyable. I always have a mini-bottle of hot sauce as well. A small smear of peanut butter makes a rat trap work great as a squirrel catcher. My cat brought a chipmunk home today. Before I could confiscate it, my wife turned it loose. Maybe next time. Be well and at peace, my friend.

Chris I spent the first half of the week in Biloxi and saw your book in the shopping mall bookstore. I hope it's selling well. Secondly, is the Membrane Solutions gravity system a filter or actually a purifier? Thirdly, i watched a lot of coverage of the Hurricane Beryl impacts, which got me pondering if any of our methods work with brackish flood water? I personally would try collecting rainwater as there was certainly a lot of it. Be well and at peace, my friend.
